Great to hear you on the Ask About Fly Fishing podcast. Good discussion of what is possible with the tenkara rods you produce. Your enthusiasm for pushing the limits of what can be done with tenkara is contagious.
I am delighted with my Sagi rod. I took it to Mexico last year and managed to hook a couple baby tarpon and although I didn’t manage to land them I was still pleased. I will take it to the Seychelles in December as see what I can do with it there.
Hi Doug. Thanks for your kind words. The Sagi is my favorite rod because of its unpretentious capabilities. Baby tarpon… Fantastic! (I’d love any pictures and always appreciate positive reviews). A net partner definitely helps. The Seychelles should be amazing. I am also planning a trip 2020.Ill probably bring our Taka rod, the Sagi’s big brother, as it performed well in the Maldives.
