Description
Trout have a hard time resisting this emerger pattern. The back loop or “bubble” imitates that moment of transition from pupa to adult, when the thoracic area breaks through the pupa skin of the caddis. It also provided the fly pattern excellent flotation with little else supporting it. The fly hangs low in the surface film and is one of the most useful and effective emerger patterns available.
